Crossfade Design’s relationship began with the Cleveland Cavaliers by undertaking lighting design for the 2015-16 season. The success of the Cavs that season led to an NBA Championship. A completely new lighting system was installed for the 2017 season.  A few years later, a laser system was added. After many years of successful events, it was time for another upgrade. In 2025, just in time for the playoffs, Crossfade installed a state-of-the-art system like no one in the NBA. Including 8 triangle trusses with projection surfaces and the first in the USA use of German Lighting Product’s massive MadMAXX moving wash fixture. Crossfade provides a combination of remote programming via Depence from our pre-visualization studios in New Albany, IN and Dallas, TX and an on-site staff programmer for all events in Rocket Arena.
